We’re aware that some of our Southwest Virginia members may need assistance, and it is important that we take as much care as we can to offer material and emotional support during difficult times.
We want anyone who needs help to get the help they need, especially our colleagues at UVA-Wise and Virginia Tech. Please connect with us if there is anything we can do to assist you.
Several organizations are on the ground to assist with mutual aid in the southwest region. These include POWHR, Appalachian Medical Solidarity, Newport Community Center, and Virginia Tech’s Black Faculty & Staff Caucus Outreach Team.
